Upgrading this 14.3m X band antenna equipped with TIW System Inc Monopulse system and Advantech Intrac Antenna Controller was definitely a challenge for our engineers and technicians. It is now equipped with NPC integrated Monopulse solution; RF monopulse plate, Digital Tracking Receiver DTR500, ACU550, PDU controlling 2 brushless motors per axis via NPC counter torque management system (ABS; Anti Backlash System), 4 new brushless motors, 2 x 20 Bits optical encoders and limit switches.
