This latest renovation brings us back to France, to the site of one of our oldest clients. At the Bercenay teleport, we have renovated this 11-meter antenna for Orange which featured a complete NEYRPIC solution including an ACU550, a PDU installed in a 19-inch rack, two optical encoders, a connection box mounted on the antenna to connect an RCB350 for manual antenna operation, two brushless motors in AZ controlled by our Anti-Backlash System (ABS), and an AC motor for the elevation axis.
This antenna and the large-diameter antennas installed on this site have undergone several renovations of their tracking systems. Over the decades, they have been upgraded with new versions of NEYRPIC tracking technology and maintained in perfect working condition for over 45 years in some cases. NPC SYSTEM is very proud to continue providing this level of service for the antennas at Bercenay, allowing Orange to deliver optimal service to its customers.
